Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run the Academy and nothing else. We do not sell your information and we never will. We do not share your bid numbers or your business details with other members.

When you join the waitlist: your name, email, phone number, company name, website, city, and zip code.

When you become a member: your billing details and payment history. Card numbers go straight to our payment processor and never touch our systems.

When you use the Academy: which lessons you watched, questions you post, and anything you send us for a bid review or takeoff review.

Automatically: your IP address, browser type, and how you found the site. This is standard web traffic data.

• To give you access to what you paid for
• To answer your questions and review your bids
• To take payment and send receipts
• To email you about the Academy, your account, and new lessons
• To catch spam and fake signups before they reach us
• To see which lessons help and which need rework

When you send us a set of plans, a takeoff, or a bid to review, that is your confidential business information. We use it to help you and nothing else.

We will not bid against you using something you sent us for review, and we will not show your numbers to another member.

If we ever want to use your situation as a teaching example, we will ask you first and strip out anything that identifies you or the job.

Only the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:

• Our payment processor, to take payment
• Our community and course platform, to give you access
• Our email and text messaging tools, to reach you
• Our website host and spam filtering service
• Our accountant and, if we ever have to, our lawyer

We will also hand over information if the law requires it. If that ever happens and we are allowed to tell you, we will.

That is the whole list. No advertisers, no data brokers, no lead sellers.

When you join the waitlist or become a member, we will email you about the Academy. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works.

Account and billing emails cannot be turned off while you are a member.

Text messages are separate and you have to ask for them. Giving us a phone number does not sign you up for texts. We only send them if you ticked the SMS consent box at commercialflooringacademy.com/sms or texted us first. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

If you opt in, we send account notification and customer care texts: enrollment and payment confirmations, reminders for live coaching calls, notice that new course material is up, and replies when you text or call us. We do not send promotional or marketing texts.

Reply STOP to any text and we stop. Reply HELP for help, or call 772-777-8627. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. No part of the sharing described in section 5 includes selling or renting your mobile number, and text messaging originator opt-in data is never shared with anyone.

We keep your account information while you are a member and for two years after you leave, in case you come back. Billing records we keep for seven years because tax law requires it.

Waitlist information gets deleted after two years if you never join.

Email info@commercialflooringacademy.com and ask. You can ask us to send you a copy of what we have, fix something that is wrong, or delete it entirely. We will handle it within 30 days.

Deleting your information means closing your account. We cannot give you access to a membership without a record of you having one.

The site runs over an encrypted connection, access to member data is limited to people who need it, and we do not store card numbers.

No system is perfect. If there is ever a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

The Academy is for people running a business. It is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email members before it takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
