Refund Policy

What is refundable, what is not, and how to cancel. No fine print games.

1. The waitlist deposit

The waitlist deposit holds your place in line. Spots open in small groups, in the order people paid.

You pay $205.25 today. That is a $199 seat deposit plus $6.25 in card processing, which goes to the card processor and not to us.

The $199 is credited in full toward your first month when your spot comes up and you join. You are paying early, not extra. The $6.25 processing is a cost of taking the card and is not credited.

The deposit is not refundable. That is the whole point of it. It is what keeps the line honest, so the people ahead of you are people who actually want in.

Two things you should know before you pay it:

  • When your spot opens, you get 48 hours to claim it. If you pass or do not answer, we move to the next person and your deposit is not returned.
  • If we cancel the program or never open a spot for you, you get the full $205.25 back, processing included. If we are the reason you did not get in, you are not out a cent.

2. Monthly memberships

Memberships bill monthly. You can cancel any time from your account or by emailing us, and you keep access through the end of the month you already paid for.

We do not refund partial months. If you cancel on day 20, you keep access to day 30 and we do not send back a portion.

We do not bill you again after you cancel. If we ever charge you after a cancellation, that is our mistake and we refund it in full, no questions.

3. One-time purchases

One-time purchases like bid book access, takeoff services, and on-site consulting are not refundable once the work has started or access has been given.

On-site consulting booked and then canceled with less than seven days notice is not refundable, because travel is already booked. More than seven days notice and you get your deposit back or you can move the date once.

4. When we will refund you anyway

Policies are for the normal case. These are not normal:

  • We charged you twice for the same thing
  • We billed you after you canceled
  • You were charged for something you never got access to
  • We canceled the program or removed something you were paying for

In any of those, email us and we make it right. We are not going to argue with you over a mistake we made.

5. When we will not refund you

  • You bought it and did not use it
  • You changed your mind after getting access to the lessons or the bid book
  • You did the training and did not win a job
  • Your account was closed for sharing a login or for how you treated other members

On the third one, be straight with us before you ask. If you did the work, submitted the bids, and followed up, we want to hear about it. That is a conversation worth having and we would rather fix it than lose you.

6. Talk to us before you dispute a charge

If something is wrong with a charge, email us first at info@commercialflooringacademy.com. We answer fast and we can usually fix it the same day.

Filing a chargeback without asking us first gets your account closed and costs both of us money and time over something that was probably a five minute fix.

7. How to cancel

Email info@commercialflooringacademy.com from the address on your account, or cancel from your account settings. You will get a confirmation. If you do not get one, we did not receive it, so follow up.
